Placemakr Dupont Circle

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was! The photos don't totally do it justice. The building is beautifully renovated, the salon areas where you can hang out are really cool. We loved having a studio apartment with a kitchenette for our long weekend in DC, much better than staying in a cramped hotel room. The area has historic buildings and a lot of restaurants, very walkable and vibrant area close to the Dupont Metro station.

Fantastic stay. If we are ever in this area again we will choose this over the hotels. We have stayed at several hotels near here, and this apartment is better value and much nicer. We asked for a quiet room, and were given a courtyard ground floor, so no noise from outside. The rooms are massive. It's a studio apartment not a room. They supplied dishwasher and washing machine tablets, cleaning stuff, bathroom stuff. Loads of storage, big comfy bed, TV and sofa. It realised a steal compared to what you get hotel wise in this area. Check in is a code to your phone, but there is someone at reception, not 24 hrs. Gym looked good. Will be our place of choice for our next stay.

The staff were friendly and responsive to my requests. Although I had issues with the aircon and dishwasher (machines do breakdown sometimes), the staff showed genuine concern and were quick to rectify the problems. They even offered me a change in room. I would especially like to praise Rochelle from the front desk who helped to solve our issues. Despite the hiccups, the staff displayed service excellence and made my stay a pleasant one! The location is next to the Metrorail Red Line which is convenient to get to places of interest.

Excellent location. Surprisingly well equipped room. I could see this being a very great spot for someone staying a while and in need of a kitchen/studio apartment feeling. Pretty good rate for the area.

The hotel is located on Dupont Circle with easy access to restaurants, cafes and the red line metro station. The reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My luggage was delayed by the airline and when the bag arrived at the hotel, I was out at meetings but the hotel staff kindly kept it in my room. The room is well equipped with a little kitchenette including, cooktop, refrigerator, dishwasher and washing machine. My room was in the T building and was clean and comfortable. Access to the room is with a unique code number.
